Golf Day Opportunity Raises Over $100k for Eating Disorders Families Australia
Eating Disorders Families Australia (EDFA) was the charity recipient of FDC’s Golf Day Fundraiser at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Monday 14 September 2026, with the event raising more than $100,000 to support EDFA’s work supporting families and carers impacted by a loved one with an eating disorder.

The annual golf day brought together FDC clients, colleagues and supporters for a day of golf, connection and fundraising, while shining a light on the important work of EDFA and the difference its services make for recipient families.
EDFA supports families and carers with information, resources, education and connection, helping them better understand eating disorders and providing support through what can be an incredibly difficult road toward recovery. Funds raised through the event will help EDFA continue providing vital support to families and carers across Australia.
Pressroom Philanthropy was delighted to support the event by designing and producing event materials for the evening dinner, as well as Pressroom’s Moving Stories Team capturing video footage throughout the day. Through creative event collateral and visual storytelling, Pressroom was proud to help FDC create awarenessof its fundraising efforts and showcase the important work of EDFA.
