The bustling event provided a unique opportunity to showcase the social enterprises commitment to creating meaningful employment for people with intellectual disabilities.

Operating a food outlet at the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park across the four-day race weekend, the seven members of the All Things Equal team worked shifts throughout the event (accompanied by their hospitality trainers), serving food and engaging with the thousands of visitors who passed through the Grand Prix precinct – an exciting chance to build confidence, develop workplace skills and experience the energy of a major international event.

The outlet quickly became a welcoming and lively part of the racetrack atmosphere, showcasing how their inclusive employment model (demonstrated so well at their Balaclava café) can thrive even in fast-paced environments – helping raise awareness among a whole new audience about the importance of creating accessible employment pathways.

By bringing their passion for hospitality to the track, the All Things Equal team showed that when opportunities are opened up, people of all abilities can contribute, succeed and be celebrated — both on and off the circuit.
