YVM's Exaudi Youth Choir Tour of South America Captured on Film
Pressroom Philanthropy's videographer, Alex Walton from the Moving Stories division, recently travelled with Young Voices of Melbourne's young adult choir, Exaudi, on its South American tour to document the group's inspiring journey.

Led by Young Voices of Melbourne's Artistic Director, Juliana Kay, the tour ran from 27 June to 11 July 2026, taking the choir to Chile and Brazil to collaborate with local choirs and arts organisations, perform internationally, and foster cultural exchange through choral music.
Throughout the tour, Alex captured rehearsals, performances and behind-the-scenes moments that will form part of a mini documentary celebrating the choir’s exceptional talent and the impact Young Voices of Melbourne has on the lives of its singers and the communities they engage with.
Through compelling visual storytelling, the documentary will showcase the power of music to build connections across cultures while highlighting the organisation’s commitment to developing young performers and creating meaningful artistic experiences both in Australia and abroad.
